What is Group Whitelist for?

Hi,

What is Group Whitelist for?
I cannot find it in wiki.



I assumed it is to select which usergroup to display in the form.
But nothing happened at form as it still display all usergroups.

Tooltip:"A list of allowed user groups". It determines which usergroups can be selected from a user additionally to the groups he is already belonging to. Other groups will throw an error like "You are not allowed..."

The usergroup element always displayes all groups
