Connection =

Connections allow Fabrik to connect to any MySQL database a user needs to access. On installation Fabrik will automatically create a connection to the Joomla database.

To access an overview of your database connections select “components→Fabrik→connections” - from the top menu in your Joomla administration panel.

• The table summary shows:
• Database Connection
• Database Description
• Database Host
• Database Published State
• Database Link (to test the connection)

If you have a large number of database connections you may want to unpublish them when they are not in use in order to speed up the administration of the tables section.
