Solved US state field on donation form has no pulldown of state names

Greetings,

I tried to donate, but the last US State field in the donation form does not offer the pulldown of states. I'm on Safari Version 17.5 (19618.2.12.11.6). The field is at the bottom of the window and can scroll no further, too.

I'll donate once that is resolved.

Any JS error in your browser console?

Can't you switch to an other browser.
I don't have Safari but Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge are doing; even on mobile.

Hey Troester,
Still a Fabrik mainstay in this post-Media-ATeam world, I see. Awesome!
Been a few years, eh...
So I just tried the form on Firefox Version 128.0 (64-bit), and Chrome Version 127.0.6533.100 (Official Build) (arm64).
Same result. The State field doesn't drop down to show the select list items.
FYI, this is on a MacBook Air M2, 2022 running Sonoma 14.5. (Screenshot attached.)
I'll try again in the office where I've got two 27" monitors with more screen real estate.
Btw, the Country field does dropdown showing the select list items. Maybe move the State field up to be below the City field where it ought to be? Perhaps a monitor size/depth issue? I forgot to look for JS errors. I'll do so on the Mac Studio and will update this thread.

Ah, it's on the checkout page. I thought on the next step Paypal/Creditcard.

I think 'State' is just empty and not needed at all.
(Although I don't get any JS error here).

The reason this is happening is that I neglected to import the states list into the subscription component. I just tried to do so and am getting an error and will continue to investigate. In the mean time though, I do not believe state is a required field so try submitting without selecting it. It has been this way from the beginning and no one else has failed to register as a result.

Aha! Well no wonder... But you are right, I was able to subscribe and make payment without the State field data— and, obtain the downloads as well as my Download ID. Cheers!
