Email form plugin error
When enabled it only sends mail if the address is from the domain. Does not send to emails foreign to the domain.
Could not execute: / usr / sbin / sendmail
Could not send email to ********sta1957@gmail.com
Could not send email to *******.***ela@sapo.pt

Fabrik is using the Joomla settings (Global config/Server).
Try to set up a correct SMTP mailing.

I changed it to SMTP with the server settings and reports the following error:
SMTP error! Data not accepted. SMTP server error: DATA END command failed Detail: "Message rejected by local rules" SMTP code: 550 Could not send email to gest_provas@asespedal.net
In joomla control panel email was sent and received "This is a test email sent via" SMTP ". Your email settings are correct!"

Which Joomla, which exact Fabrik and Fabrik email form plugin version (versions number, form download, from GitHub)?

Joomla 3.9.11, and Fabrik 3.9 extracted from GitHub. The plugin was updated on 14-08-2019.

That test will send to the address you have configured as your site email, I believe. Is that address local? If so, try changing it to a remote address.

This looks like a mail server config issue, not Fabrik.

It must have to do with server settings. However in the "Receipt form plugin" it works fine. Thanks.

Receipt is doing emailing in a simpler way.
Also the test in global config is only sending a simple text to the "From Email" (which is usually not a "foreign" one).

So try to send a Joomla test email to e.g. ********sta1957@gmail.com (you can just insert the email into From Email without saving the config).
Try your email form plugin with just the "To" address and a static message text, no eval, no options, no attachements etc.

Maybe you'll get a hint this way.

Both Joomla and email form plugin only works with address @ asespedal.net. This should be a restriction of the sending server. Thanks.

Most mail servers (especially on shared servers) are set up to only allow local "From" addresses, as part of protecting against abuse by spammers.

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
