Add option in front end - Details Page

Hi All,

I need to show The Add option in front end of databasejoin element in Details Page, like as shown in the prototype below.



This button nowadays is shown only in the add/edit form. Any suggestions to do that?

What do you expect? Adding a new option won't change anything in the displayed record.

You could add a link to the "Add" form and style it as +button.

I tried to do that. I created a button using element display and insert the link, but I need the databasejoin element pre-configured with related item. Example: If I am in the UniversityA Details page and want to insert a Member, when it opens the member add form, the databasejoin element should be configured with UniversityA.
Is it possible to set the element value in the link of add form?

Ah, I forgot, if Members is a dbjoin the feature is already built-in.
In your University list enable "Related Data" for the members , in your University form/Options enable "Show related data links".

And yes, you can pre-set form elements by adding &your-full-element=abc to your URL
