Advance Search Edit Format

Is there a way to remove the Calendar icon showing in Advance Search in the list view? It does not work anyways so I would like to remove it so that users are not frustrated clicking and no response.

You can exclude it in element settings [List view settings][Filters]

Exclude the icon only? I still want them to be able to enter a date in with the format that works.

No, this will exclude the complete element.
Is it date or jdate?
Did you try to set the element to "always render" (if it's not displayed in list view)?

Jdate and setting to "Always Render " does not change result... click on the calendar icon and nothing happens... no popup calendar selector... So I was just looking to see if I could remove the icon from showing and just have the date field showing where they can enter just the date.
