Edit element directly from the list

Is it possible to modify an element directly from the list?

I would like to create a YES / NO element (or alternatively a flag checkbox) and give the possibility to modify only that element directly from the list.
Is this something that can be done?

Hello, I'm following the recommended guide, but I have this doubt:
do I have to create the "list_X.js" and "myscript.php" files or do they already exist and I have to modify them?
If they already exist, what is the path?
If instead I have to create them, in which folder should I put them?

Hi,

Yes, you have to create these files.
list_X.js goes to the folder: "/components/com_fabrik/js" (don't forget to replace X with your list id)
and the script file anywhere you like. Just refer to the right path in the javascript code's ajax part.

For the PHP-part you should be also able to use Fabrik's user_ajax.php, but I haven't tested this myself and don't have a working example right now.
