Not doubting that your Google Maps API basically works. But the message you're getting comes from Google and typically indicates that you're "not allowed" to use Geocoding (which requires the activation of an additional API).
That's why I suggested you check if Geocoding is also enabled for you. Unfortunately your reply doesn't confirm this either way.
