Element list view settings: Only details view

Hello!

I have a list that is only visible to logged-in users. If they click on an element in a list that is configured to show the details they get immediately to the form view. Is it possible to show them the details view instead?
The reason for this is that some users are too quick and start changing data in the form without thinking (even replacing the data with the one they wanted to enter). If the only get the details view they have to purposefully select add or edit.

• You can remove "Link to details" in element settings (so the user must use edit or view buttons)
• You can add a custom link to details which is going to view=details
• There's a confirmation form plugin, http://fabrikar.com/forums/index.php?wiki/confirmation-form-plugin/, but I never used it. No idea if it's up-to-date

Thanks for the hints. I sue some of them already as a workaround. I just thought, it would be more convenient for the user to click on the e.g. name to get always first to the details view.

You can do this by adding a custom link
