Email List Plugin Update Rows

Greetings

I want to Update Row after email sent by Email List Plugin. The element I wish to update is a TextArea Element for notes - register__notes. I wish to add a note to the TextArea that says something like "Registration Email Sent dd/mm/yy". I can get this to work, albeit without the date being added automatically, however it deletes any previous notes entered. How do I Update Row to add a new line of text to the TextArea Element so that adds the note, preferably at the top and on separate line, without deleting previous notes and include the date?

You can use the "update value" field for any SQL you need (See the tooltip

Optional. The value to update the 'update' element to. You can use some specific placeholde - {now} or now() for current date/time, {subject}, {$my->id}, {sent} and {notsent}. If the update field above is left blank, you may use an SQL expression here, like 'foo = foo + 1'

So you can do something like
notes = concat('Registration Email Sent',curdate(),'<br>',notes)
