form in edit mode

I have the "player" form with the "team" field. (database Join - form "team"). When I open the "player" form in edit mode (prefilter with {$ my-> id}) to change the team I can not add new teams in the "team" form.

Can you be more specific about "cannot add". Are you using the "Add option in front end" feature? If so, what are the symptoms you are seeing?
