• Hello Fabrik Community

Fabrik is now in the hands of the development team that brought you Fabrik for Joomla 4. We have recently transitioned the Fabrik site over to a new server and are busy trying to clean it up. We have upgraded the site to Joomla 4 and are running the latest version of Fabrik 4. We have also upgraded the Xenforo forum software to the latest version. Many of the widgets you might have been used to on the forum are no longer operational, many abandoned by the developers. We hope to bring back some of the important ones as we have time.

    Exciting times to be sure.

The Fabrik 4.0 Official release is now available. In addition, the Fabrik codebase is now available in a public repository. See the notices about these in the announcements section

We wish to shout out a very big Thank You to all of you who have made donations. They have really helped. But we can always use more...wink..wink..

Also a big Thank You to those of you who have been assisting others in the forum. This takes a very big burden off of us as we work on bugs, the website and the future of Fabrik.

I can't save a new list

I have a brand new install of Joomla 3.9.18, brand new install of Fabrik 3.9. updated from today's GitHub download. I get NO ERROR MESSAGE, it simply will not save the new list.

As you can imagine, there's nothing I can do until I get this solved.

The default date element has changed from date to jdate (which is already in GitHub).
But a GitHub update won't install anything.
Do you have jdate installed and published? ("Extensions/Discover")

Yeah, I'm kind of in the middle of doing a build atm. Try discovering, installing and enabling the jdate plugin.

Just tested with also a new J!3.9.18, Fabrik3.9 install, GitHub update.
I can't replicate.
It's reporting nicely "jdate not installed or published" and after discover (install, publish) jdate the list is created.

So do you have other components/plugin installed, too?
Can you see JS error is your browser console?

BTW: This is Joomla2.5/Fabrik3.0 forum...

jdate plugin was already discovered, installed, and enabled... and I do not see any Forum Topics for Fabrik 3.9

I don't get as far as selecting a content type... save button is unresponsive. Haven't had success linking to an existing table, no.

Man... I KNEW I was gonna get a flat forehead from slapping myself when I finally figured this out. Your question about JS errors was the tipping point. I have been aggressively chasing better performance and faster page loads on all my sites, and some of the plugins I use to that end just don't play well with Fabrik...
I LOVE JCH Optimize and EasyJquery, but they'll produce this effect when incorrectly applied and configured. Thank you for your patience with someone who should know better.

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
