• Hello Fabrik Community

Fabrik is now in the hands of the development team that brought you Fabrik for Joomla 4. We have recently transitioned the Fabrik site over to a new server and are busy trying to clean it up. We have upgraded the site to Joomla 4 and are running the latest version of Fabrik 4. We have also upgraded the Xenforo forum software to the latest version. Many of the widgets you might have been used to on the forum are no longer operational, many abandoned by the developers. We hope to bring back some of the important ones as we have time.

    Exciting times to be sure.

The Fabrik 4.0 Official release is now available. In addition, the Fabrik codebase is now available in a public repository. See the notices about these in the announcements section

We wish to shout out a very big Thank You to all of you who have made donations. They have really helped. But we can always use more...wink..wink..

Also a big Thank You to those of you who have been assisting others in the forum. This takes a very big burden off of us as we work on bugs, the website and the future of Fabrik.

Integration between Fabrik x Moodle - SOLVED

It is possible to integrate the Fabrik form and Moodle registration.

I need to develop a form that when filled out by the user, it is automatically registered in Moodle.

Currently, I created a form in Fabrik, I generate the batch file (.csv) and after loading, manually the csv in Moodle.

Has anyone tried or can help me ??? ...

I apologize for my English ... Translated by Google.

If Moodle has an API or uses MySQL database tables it should be possible.

You can use a form php plugin to do with the data collected by your form (nearly) anything you want.

troester, good morning ... (local time - Brazil) ...

Moodle does allow connection to external databases, but when I do this "synchronization" with the table, the corresponding fields in Moodle are blank, that is, it synchronizes but does not load the data from the Fabrik table to the Moodle table.

In case you find the solution, I'll post it here ...

Thanks for listening.

I don't know Moodle details (the e-learning tool?).

If it has an option to synchronize with an external DB table (i.e. "sync" triggered by Moodle, Moodle reading the Fabrik table) this is not Fabrik related; Fabrik is filling its DB table but doesn't care who else is reading.

If you have database write access to the Moodle tables it should be possible to write data on form submit via Fabrik (i.e. "sync" triggered by Fabrik, Fabrik writing to Moodle table).

mahmoodee, tks for listening...
But Joomdle integrates between Joomla tables, but not the tables created by Fabrik. Another detail, I want to make the integration as native as possible with Moodle, avoiding using third party plugins.

Community, good night ...

I managed to enter a simple way to connect, authenticate and synchronize the data between Fabrik tables and Moodle.

As soon as the user fills out the form in Joomla x Fabrik, he is automatically registered on the Moodle platform.

If anyone is interested, I will be available.

Thank you all.

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
