Not Allow typing in field

I have a filter with the range date.
I need Not Allow typing in field. I need only select with the calendar
is it only possible in the form ?

I think, by default, it is not possible to apply the same setting in the filter than in the form. It should be a nice feature though.
There should be a way to da that with JS I beleive.

My question is why is not equal to the form.
