Reload input when form validation failed

my field reload empty, the form doesn't keep the informations.

It should keep them.
Which element type? Any special settings, JS errors...?

Thanks for the quick answer.

Inputs mainly, the form is loaded via a menu with the (-1 and user_id) to load the information from the database.
Maybe it is the problem ? You can't reload both, only database or ongoing datas ?

I can't replicate.
Also a form with menu -1/userid is keeping the edited values on validation error. No matter if it's a new one (not logged in) or an existing one (logged-in user).

I found how to do it : on the form, go to the third tab.
In french it is : "Enregistrer les enregistrements édités partiellement" so something like "Save partially edited recordings".

This is only for multipage forms (forms with multiple groups, some groups set to "Page break") to store the data in an extra session table when switching from one page to the other and then leaving the form without saving.
It does not save the data in the underlying database table.

Still not sure what you are doing/trying to do.
