You don't need to log off - just close the browser session - so it's a session variable that's not being re-set ?

Further thoughts... It seems that once you enter a page where a placeholder filter applies then that remains for the rest of time - until you log-off the pc/reboot. Then you see the unfltered list - until you go to the filtered page and then the problem starts all over again. Do I need...

This was a brand new connection. 3.0.8 appears to have a similar problem with new custom connections. And it won't let you select tables from the site database - or at least I can't get it to work.

It looks like a 3.0.8 issue. Works fine in 3.0.7

Can anyone suggest why the tables list box is empty when I try and create a list using either the site db or an external db which has a connection which tests ok. Thanks
