Element Tip Text not rendered properly

I use the following Tip-Text in an element:
<b>{tbl_1___Field1} SomeNumber</b><br />
{tbl_1___Caption1} SomeText

It used to be rendered (with Fabrik 3.0.5 366) like this:
Number1 SomeText1
Number2 SomeText2

After updating to the latest GitHub (673) it looks like this:
<b>Number1 SomeText1</b><br />Number2 SomeText2

Any ideas?

I've updated with the latest 3.0.8 from github and am still having issues with html tags appearing in the Tip Text on my forms.
I have the tip set as hover location top. Any ideas?

I just tested and its working for me, can you post your tip text you are using and a link to the page so we can see it in action
