Filter on list based on a RadioButton element misbehaves

My radio button element contains 4 options.
0 - Applicant
1 - Active
2 - On Hold
3 - Rejected

I have the element visible in my list and also I enabled the filter, so I can filter based on the above values.
But it only works for 2 of the values. For value 2 and 3. The others 2 give always the full list.

hmm actually, this is happening on a joined list and the radio button comes from the joined table.
