Hey guys,
Long time no see! I am back! Been working on other parts of the website that don't utilize fabrik.
Anyways I am trying to order by ID which is easy to do in: list->cascading dropdown options-> order by id descending
Problem occurs when there is multiple categories(other fields) in which your pre-query is set by. Thus not allowing a order by id to actually order by id..
You can see it here: http://support.rotaryswing.com/faq/swing-system-faq
Also my my sites info should contain login. I am updated to newest github as of I think a few days ago..
The table in question is faq_membership. The rows on each FAQ page are pre-queried by category name. Then I want to order by ID which it does not do.
To test I set an ID of 1021 for a row containing a question in bgsales category(SQL view not website view) I then ordered "rotary swing system and background sales(bgsales frontend category)" by ID descending and it won't show at the top. Then I thought...hmmm... Maybe my brain is fried, lets try Ascending... Still not the result it should be.
Please check into this as it is a drawback. I tried to manually set a few IDs to like 1000 plus so I can order by them and keep those FAQ's on the front page for sales questions no matter if we added new FAQs to the table.
----------------------
There is another issue with URLs in listview modules where they don't change the URL accordingly. For instance. When it should point to something like this: http://rotaryswing.com/tutorials/details/1/44 or whatever (not real link) It instead points to this when a link is clicked: http://rotaryswing.com/component/fabrik/.....(something)
This issue is in list view Modules that I noticed. You can see a demo of this issue at: demo.rotaryswing.com/tutorials then by clicking on a red play button over an image. Notice the URL.
Thanks as always,
Nick N
