Public access to related data

I have a function on my site were the user can make a wishlist. I use two tables for this: "Wishlist" and "Item". I use the related data function to connect items with the wishlist. As long as you are logged in, there is no problem. But public users can't access the items. I have set "view list" and "view records" to public in both tables/lists. What am I missing here?

That should work with the settings you have.
Could I ask if you have updated from github? As my test related data list works well even when I am not logged in
