Image overrides
  • When a fabrik list or form template loads, it will search your Joomla site for the requested image in the following folders, in the following order:

    1. templates/{Joomla template}/html/com_fabrik/{view}/{fabrik template}/images/
    2. templates/{Joomla template}/html/com_fabrik/{view}/images/
    3. templates/{Joomla template}/html/com_fabrik/images/
    4. components/com_fabrik/views/{view}/tmpl/{fabrik template}/images/
    5. media/com_fabrik/images/
    6. images/
    7. images/stories/
    In the above list:

    • {Joomla template} refers to the name of your current Joomla template e.g. Beez
    • {view} refers to the name of your fabrik view e.g. 'list' or 'form'
    • {fabrik template} refers to the name of the views current template e.g. 'bluesky'
If the image is found then its path is returned and no futher searches occur.

This means that images found at location 1 in the list will take precendence over images located at location 7.

Note 1: File names are case sensitive.
Note 2: We do not search sub folders. So image located in images/foobar/ will not be matched
