Can you track the first page someone came into the site on?

We are doing an adwords campaign on one of our sites where people clicking on ads end up on landing pages. However, there is the possibility that they will peruse the site and perhaps fill out a form such as a brochure request that was not on the landing page.

Is there any easy way to set things up so that when a user submits a form, we can see where they entered the site? Most of these will probably be first time visitiors.

No easy way no.
At a guess you would need to code/find a system or joomla user plugin that checks on each page load - the referring url and if its not on the same domain as the site, store that as a cookie.

Then in the fabrik form you could add a small piece of code to get the cookie and insert its value into a hidden field.
