Hi all.
Is it usefull to say "I love fabrik"?
I'm building a control panel where some admins can manage admissions for the seminar they organize.
I've basically created a list where the admin can filter and select users by seminar, name, etc... and export them.
The table is composed by many fields: in particular for each user we have the email and the user status for admittance.
In the list I created an element controlled by the inline edit plugin where the admin can choose "on the fly" between 4 state: waiting, confirmed, in the waitlist, not admitted.
All that works like a charm, but I cannot figure out how to notify by email the status change directly to the user concerned.
The user should receive an email when his state has been modified.
This is my expected workflow:
1. Admin search for the unconfirmed user (done);
2. Admin can modify "on the fly" the status (done);
3. When a status is modified the user will receive a mail with a text different based on the new status selected by the admin (basically: your places are not confirmed / your places are confirmed / you've been added to the waiting list / you're not admitted).
I've seen the email plugin in fabrik, but my impression is that in general they can send mails to a fixed address...
Any idea or track on what to do?
THANX for the wonderful product...
