Error message on return false, with PHP form submission plugin

Hello all
I have a form validation with the PHP form plugin that runs only on "new"
When validation fails the code returns "false" and the data is not saved.
All correct.
But the message is "Record added/updated"
I want change the message to an error message. It is posible?
