hide goup or show in the form

I have a group of elements i made it in a form as tabbed , i need to make something to make it hidden or not during adding form in the frontend , how can i do that

I had a similar need; to hide/show no tabbed groups; cheesegrits helped me:

document.id('group123').hide(); ​

document.id('group123').show();​

123 is the id of the group
