Registration problems

Hi,
there are some problems registering to fabrikar.com because the confirmation email is not sent.
Error appears: "check /usr/bin/sendmail" or similar.
Can any admin enable my account?

Seems that the account for download is different that the account for the forum...

Hmm... seems from time to time there are problems with fabrikar.com sending mails.
Reported to @mediaateam, hopefully they'll get to it quickly.

If you can't download you can use the GitHub version (it's newer anyway).

@troester thanks for reply... I tried to install it from github but I couldn't, Joomla tells me that the XML file is missing to proceed with the installation. Can you give me a hand?

Yes, GitHub is not installable. Do
Update from GitHub
Then use Joomla's Extension Discover (I'm not sure if discovering the main component has any issues)
Or
If you have somewhere an older Fabrik package I would suggest to install it and then do a Joomla update or a Fabrik GitHub update.

Ok, but I need to install Fabrik before launching the update from github or can I do installation directly from github?

update from GitHub is no installation, it's file copy. See the WIKI. Then you can use Joomla's extension 'Discover'

Sorry @troester ... i need help... @mediaateam are you in? I'm waiting to make my first test into Fabrikar... thanks a lot.

Try to download and install http://fabrikar.com/media/downloads/com_fabrik_3.10.zip
Then copy the GitHub files again and install and enable what you need (at least system plugin, elements you want to use (at least id, date, field etc)).

But as long as @mediaateam won't fix the registration issue...
