A Way to Email A Notification, After a New Entry is Made

I know we have the email plugin, but I wanted to see if there is a way to email a particular user group.

Im basically building a job postings list, that I want to email all my "job seekers" user group when new entries (job postings) are made.

The form email plugin has an option to send to groups or the "email to (eval)" where you run any code to get the emails you want to send to.
You can run the email plugin "on new" only.

Ok ill give this a whirl, I have to create custom access groups anyhow for paid access. This should work great.

Ill also see about running a plugin on "update" too, because that will be important for job seekers to know that a job listing has changed. Cool. Thx man.
