Adjust layout & css of filtertable

I'd like to adjust the layout of the table's "filtertable" component to be a horizontal row instead of a right-aligned block above my fabriktable. Any clues as to how to force this? I can't seem to be able to find any methods that will alter the layout of this element.

As far as I can tell from the templating this is a fixed element? I don't think you can change the layout without messing around with the Fabrik code.

Just guessing after having looked at the templating.

Yeah I assumed as much. Well I guess I'm diving into the code, then. I don't want a big 200 pixel wide block floating on the right side of the page.

Now If I could just find WHERE that block is generated, I'd be fine. It's all dynamic content generated on the fly, I just need to figure out where it's being called from, and then I can fix their hard-coded float:right and width:200px.

OK, not having luck with this - it's not easy to modify with just css.
Right now my search (filter) table looks like this:

I want it to look like this:

Any hints, tips, or hacks that will assist me in making this work?
