Hi:

I am facing a strange issue with lists when published in a module or even as a menu link. I have turned on the "Advanced Search" and the "Extended Search All" options in the lists configuration.

When I click on the "Advanced Search" link on the front-end; a popup opens however the popup does not have any options. All I see is a spinning wheel and if I close the popup and again click on the "Advanced Search" link, I don't see the spinning wheel as well.

I went through the forum and have tried turning the "Ajaxify Links" on and off in the module / lists settings.

I have also tried using the default "Protostar" template yet the same issue.

Here is the link for the form front-end:

List Module:
http://km.athenaitsolutions.com/index.php/agent-desktop

List as a Menu Type:
http://km.athenaitsolutions.com/index.php/cust-data

The same issue persists even in the back-end. Any clue what is going wrong?

Best regards,
MS

Config: Joomla: 3.0.3 with Fabrik 3.1b - GitHub update on 20th March 2013

Hi Rob:

I updated from GitHub as suggested. Post the update, the "List as a Menu Type" option works fine however I am receiving the below error in the Lists Module:

Error: 0 - Invalid controller: name='default', format=''

Initially, post the update, I was getting a spinning wheel in the List Module and nothing else. Once I turned the "Ajaxify Links" to off in the module configuration, I started getting the above error.

The link for the page remains the same.

http://km.athenaitsolutions.com/index.php/agent-desktop

Further, I checked it on Joomla 2.5 and Fabrik 3.0.6 and there as well, there is an issue in the Lists Module. The error reported here is:

Error: 500 - Invalid controller: name='default', format=''

Link for this version (Joomla 2.5 with Fabrik 3.0.6 below):

http://kmv1.athenaitsolutions.com/index.php/km/agent-desktop

I have turned Error Reporting to Maximum as suggested however no errors are being displayed for this incident.

Hi Rob:

I am using a "Blank Component" (joomla extension) which allows me to create a blank page and then I am displaying the list module in the main content position itself.... That way I can display any module in any position that I choose. It gives me the ability to create a page with only modules.

The reason that I am doing so is because in the final application, all list modules will be displayed within a container module like Accordions or Tabs along with other non-Fabrik modules. The application will have only modules and no content area.... all content components are modules :)

Hope I have not managed to confuse you more!

So what you see in the main content area is the list module itself. The site credentials are the same that I had PMd you earlier.

In the current view on the page, if you click on Advanced Search and enter any number after selecting the Phone Number filter, you get the stated error. Simply putting it, you get the error when you try doing an advanced search on any criteria.

Hope that clarifies a bit :)

MS

yes thanks that clarifies things :D
I've fixed this issue in github - so the advanced search should now work when the list is rendered in a module.
