Allowing selected user to edit per row basis which should be selected in form

Fabrik has really helped in creating a complex website in minutes but I have one question. I would like to add users in the form itself to fields such as Manger > Please select , then project co-ordinator > please select as a user fields but when they log in they only be able to view details as read-only and only if they are selected as the project manager they can edit the record too.

I am not sure if I am explaining it well but in case if this makes sense can someone help me to find a solution.

Using Joomla 3.3 and Fabrik 3.1

1. running J!3.3 you should update from GitHub (joomla3 branch; it's fixing some J!3.3 issues).

2. in your list access settings you can set
"Edit records"= e.g. superadmin
or use field = select your project manager field
So if the logged-in userID is matching the ID in project manager this user can edit

Thanks! Troester I will update the package and thanks for the info. I am getting what you are saying but I have 5 fields which are different designation for a project and I want all of the users to edit a record. Can I select multiple elements value as 'use field'?
