clarification on gitHub updating

Hi, Just wanted to clarify with github updates as to whether I am supposed to upload the following files/folders:

- .tx folder
- fabrik_build folder
- .gitignore file
- build, build_config, build_js, build_one_js, build_updateserver_xml files
- Readme.md and test.txt files....

Reason is that I 'updated' via github using instructions posted by felixkat on the wiki but now when I look at extension manager there is no date for the components there is only "${createdate} (see attached screenshot)
... I am guessing that I've left something out?

You don't need such files (but it doesn't hurt).

The creation date is missing in GitHub update, this is no error (there was a thread somewhere saying something like "it's only filled when building the download zip...")
