color change in list view

does any one know how i can change the color off cell in list view once selected either red, amber or green. i just want it to show in the status field not all. please see image. thanks in advance.

You can set "use as row class" in element's list view settings and add custom css only selecting this element's <td tag.
something like
.your-row-class td.your-full-elementname {background:red}
