Connection failed

Hello everyone.
I have linux server where I manage a mysql database with some data.
i am trying to access from my website via fabrik to the database in my server but i cannot connect.
the database from the outside is reachable but with fabrik I can't. what can i check?
door 3306 is open

Did you create new a Fabrik connection with the correct DB parameters (host, database, user, password)?
Any error message?
I don't think Fabrik is doing anything special.
It's on your external server site to enable access in general and your external DB to enable access for the user.

Yes, I have created a new connection with the correct data.
the site is on aruba and the database is on my local server which is accessible from the outside with the correct login details.
not so what to check ...

So which message do you get if doing "Test connection" in Fabrik connections?

You can create a little test program e.g. in your Joomla root and try if your settings are correct/access is possible from your website server, something like here

(Make sure to delete it afterwards to not expose your connection params).

Portrebbe dipendere dalla versione di PHP ? se su joomla uso la 7.2 esempio e nel server la versione 6 ?
