Deleted groups still appear

Hi,

I have some issues with my groups : I had 3 groups on the same database table. I only need 1 anymore so I deleted the other 2, but if I create a new element on the remaining group, this element is also assigned to my deleted groups ! Those groups aren't in my groups' list anymore, but it's like they weren't deleted...

I don't get it, so if you were able to understand my issue, I'd be glad to have an answer.

Did you empty trash (select status=trash in the group listing)?
