Email based list entry?

Help desk applications allow users to send an email to let's say, help@support.com and this action automatically creates a ticket. Does Fabrik have a feature whereby users can send an email and that action will automatically create an entry in a particular list?
I'm exploring building a help desk with Fabrik.
 
This is pretty much out of Fabrik's scope. You need to use some PHP e-mail library which connects to your e-mail server, retrieves e-mails and writes the data to (Fabrik) database table, e.g. https://github.com/barbushin/php-imap (just an example, haven't used this myself and there are probably many more options).
 
We are in need of some funding.
