Error from use of # items per page control on lists pulled by category

Nope. This is for tables pulled automatically through category association, on a category blog layout page. Unfortunately, since the update from 3.1 to 3.2, tables aren't being pulled automatically into categories anymore so I can't demonstrate/replicate.
