Explode in field cascadingdropdown help

I would like to ask friends for help:

I have three book library registration forms (A, B and C)

- on form A I record the size of the book in a field field.

- In form B, I have a databasejoin field where I register the sizes of books in a section.

- In form C, I need to get the size, labels, of the records that were saved in form B to assemble another record.

Natively, using a cascadingdropdown, it returns me from form B, just the record IDs. So I installed a calc field to save the databasejoin field records.
However, in the ccdd field, all items on form B return me like this:

However, in the ccdd field, all items on form B return me like this:

['item','item'...]

Would it be possible to perform an explode inside the ccdd field to organize each item into an option? If possible, how would I do it?

I don't know if I made myself understood by explaining my problem.:D

Thanks in advance!

Hello @troester

I have a problem following this case.

using a databasejoin field the selection works perfectly when the "render as" is dropdown. If I change the checkbox or or multi selection and try to access the list of recorded records, it returns the following error:

error 500

Unknown column 'table_name_chosen_in_item_Table.field_name_databasejoin' in 'on clause'

Is the information enough to help me fix this problem?

Thanks!
