Here's a suggestion for a new feature for future Fabrik version:
Group selection in menu item
Select which groups to show in a form when setting up the menu item that points to the list or the form.
I often have lists that contain very similar data, and I clone the form and put the differing elements into separate groups. The cloning form feature is very useful but gets a bit messy when you have 5+ versions of your form, with the only difference being certain groups are displayed and others are hidden.
I know that I can get there also with javascript, but again, if the form has 5+ versions, the javascript setting for the element that defines weather a group is shown or not gets a bit messy. An option to select the groups to show in the menu setting could be easier.
No clue, if this is actually feasible on the programming side, just an idea
