field validation

I have a dropdown field in a form. A value is 0 and then there are other specific values. I want this:
after I have submitted the form, if I have selected the value 0 I have to have an error like this one for example "You committed an error" and I have to complete back, else if I have selected a different value everything is ok and I registred the value into database.
I know I can do this using the field setting validation and in particular in the section validations (php code).
I tried a lot but I didn't have good results.
Do you have the php code for my goal?

You don't need a php validation, you can use "isnot" validation (download your version from http://fabrikar.com/download)

How does it works?
I try to enter 0 or "0" in Is Not field, but it doesn't works.

I just uninstall et reinstall and it works fine!
