filter element does not tak on bootstrap class

When one sets the filter to display under list headings, I found the dropdown box does not take on the width of the bootstrap class selected for the element.

Consequently a lot of column space is wasted in the list. It seems to be a default length, but should rather take on the bootstrap class length.

There's a specific option: "list view settings -> filters -> bootstrap class" that applies to the filter. I tested for a date element and its applied.
