Filter list using drop-downs

Hi guys,

Is there a way to let Fabrik create drop downs for filtering? Here is what I'm thinking. Let's say I have a list with 2 columns:

X | A
Y | A
X | B
Y | B

I need a drop down on the second column that contains the DISTINCT values of the second column. I.e. in this case a drop-down with:
A
B

as in: SELECT DISTINCT B FROM TheTable

Then as the drop-down is dropped and an item selected the list is filtered based on the value selected in the drop-down.

Is there any way to accomplish this in Fabrik?

Set Filter type = dropdown in element's "List view settings"/Filters.

Hi Troester,

Thanks, found it like 5 minutes after I posted

But I don't think it ever actually completes the filtering. The table I'm viewing has 15 rows in it and the filtering has shown the "Loading..." spinner for about 4 minutes and nothing happens. If I refresh the page, the filter is applied and it loads. Same thing if I hit the "Clear Filters" it just sits there with the spinner. Any ideas?
