Form Glitch - removing groups from form without trying

This is something I've only recently noticed happening. Each time I go into my form and make a change, or don't make a change, and I hit save and close, or just save, and then hit the close button, the form removes all of it's groups from itself and saves.

The result is the front view showing nothing but the form name and no groups within it because it's removed them. I have to keep going back into the form and readding the groups to it and saving it, and it goes back to normal.

Every so often though, it removes them again.

I did replicate this one before, but can't now, perhaps there is something else that needs to occur for the bug to appear?

In any event, I rewrote the form/group saving code, making it less likely for this bug to occur, so an update and test might be worth while to see if you still have this issue

I haven't run into this issue lately, so I'm going to assume it's fixed. I'll close this for now and reopen if it pops back up.

Turns out this is not fixed. Still happens and I've also noticed that when I save the form, in the autofill plugin, the field to observe resets to "-" every so often.

Seems to do it each time the groups reset. So if the groups reset, so does the field to observe.

can you nail down exactly under what circumstances it occurs?

It's just every 3rd or 4rth time I save the settings, no matter what changes I make.

and javascript errors on the page?

Does the form load and the group list is empty which causes the issue, or does it load and the group list is populated but fails then to save it when the form is saved?

No errors to my knowledge, I'll test their placement here shortly.

When the error occurs, before I save, all of the groups in the group section are in their appropriate location and the field to observe is correctly set. As soon as I save, these two things reset themselves.

I cant replicate any error on saving now.
