form validation failure

Hi
I've created a list, a form with several groups and elements. Some of the elements have simple validations like "notempty" or "isemail". The validation works on exiting the fields but when the submit button is pressed, nothing happens. Empty records are written to database. I'm using Joomla 3.3 and Fabrik 3.1, the J! template is made in Artisteer and I am using a Fabrik template from v. 2.5 Labels Above.
Can anyone help me ?

I've got the same problem and it's nothing to do with the template because I use protostar template. I'm using joomla 3.3 and fabrik 3.1. I'm trying to use it for adding a record and pressing the submit button has no reaction. Empty records are written to database for me too.
