googlemap location not displayed for users

It's probably a permissions issue on your ./cache folder in the main J! root. Make sure your web server has write access to it.

We started caching static map images (relatively) recently, in order to reduce the amount of hits on Google's servers, as displaying static maps in lists can soon hit Google's rate limiting for the free service.

I tried to see if I could understand it...

my site is http://free.itutor.sg/ which is a sub-domain. Can I assume public_thml/free is the J!root?

It's an unix server and the permission for ./cache is 755. Just googled the web and 755 means you can do anything with the file or directory.

Does it mean the web server has write access to it?

Hi,

I have upgraded my joomla version to 3.7.2 as well as Fabrik to 3.6.

Most of the issues resolved after upgrading and now almost all pages seems fine. But the pages where i am displaying data using Fabrik like Google Map and Fabrik lists data is having some issues.

Pages which are having google maps -
1. Google Maps are not loading at all.
2. Fabrik list and form data - which is displayed in tables is not loading properly.

Please help me to sort out the above issues. I am searching in forums, google from 2 days still not able to solve the issue.

Thanks in advance.

Can you please open a new thread and give some more infomations?

Was it working before the upgrades? With which Joomla and Fabrik versions?
Are you running a default Joomla template (Protostar) and default Fabrik templates (bootstrap)?
Do you have a Google API key inserted in Fabrik Options?
Google Maps are not loading at all.
Means what? Error message, blank space ...
Did you check your browser dev console for JS errors?

Yes, It was working before the upgrades (both Fabrik and Joomla Versions).
I am running custom template (if i use protostar template most of my pages showing an error "500 - Layout default not found."), when i switch to earlier template almost all pages seems fine expect maps and default Fabrik Bootstrap template.

I have checked in console, having js errors like "Uncaught TypeError: b.on is not a function", "Uncaught TypeError: d.on is not a function".
When i checked for the errors in google i found reason like jQuery conflict. So I have added jQuery.noConflict(); in the files which is showing error but still no luck.

Also when i click on "View" to see a particular record detail view (which is having in multiple pages), then the below error is appearing :

"500 - Layout default not found."

Please help me here to sort the issues, i have tried, surfed in net and no exact solution found there.

Since Fabrik3.1 you must use a Bootstrap Joomla template (reference is Protostar) and recent Fabrik's list and form "bootstrap" (or div/bootstrap_tabs) template. You can't use old Fabrik templates and you must make sure to use Joomla's JS.

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
