Group Intro & Link to Add new

Hello i inside the Intro of my Group i create a simple URL Link that show new window and let you add new record, i like to know how can i send and variable like the customer ID, that way when the get the new record form, all ready have the customer id.

Well, that depends on where the customer ID is coming from. Is it an element in the same form? If so, there's obviously a chicken and egg situation, where we don't know the value of it on new forms.

Thanks Hugh for reply yes in the form i have add the Link to the new form i also have the customer id, but this link is in the intro of the group so is not a php code its just plain html url

Have you tried a placeholder? As I said, the problem is that if the customer ID is in the dame form, then obviously when you create a new form, we don't know what that will be when we render the page / group.
