Guess Link Type in CDD

Guys

I have a CDD that draws the website/email address for the entry. How do I make it so that it is converted into a link - Is there a "Guess Link Type" setting?

Not sure there's a way to do that as things stand, at the moment I would guess you would need to write a custom list template to achieve this
