How do I get an internal id to show up in a form/detail

I have a table with internal id published and showing in list view, I cannot however get it to show up in Form or Detail view. Is this a limitation or is there a setting I'm missing?

Hi,
the internal ID is always hidden, when you create a list. I would create a calc to show up the Id in form.
