How do I search by record id?

Just as the title says, How do I search by record id? Sometimes my client asks me to make changes or double check stuff on records, need to be able to filter/search by record id easily. Just had to delete a few records it took me 15 minutes should have taken 1.

It's the same as with other elements: edit the element, in list view settings enable the filter.

Just for the record, I answered this one on Skype as well earlier today. If you ask in both places (Skype and forums), can you point me at the thread on your Skype msg? That means I can take a look here, and see if it's already been answered, rather than eating up time double-answering your question.

I don't mind you Skyping (or using Live Chat when it's working!), I just need to make sure it doesn't duplicate effort.
