How to make 'databasejoin' element readonly?

in element access settings, i can define access level as per user group.. but i want to show the element but in readonly mode.
For basic 'field' element, readonly option is there in details-->Advance setting..
but for 'databasejoin' element that option is not there..

This is exactly what the access setting is for. Set form edit/add to nobody or superadmin.

if I set Add/Edit to 'nobody'or superadmin then that element is not visible on form for all registered users... I want to show that element on form to all register user but as readonly.

I think I am not able to convey what I want. :-(
I want in EditForm, element 'databasejoin' readonly and rest of the element Editable.
If I make 'details' view public then it readonly whole details.. and if I make 'edit' public then all elements Editable.

It seems you have set list sccess settings, not your dbjoin element access settings. JS is possible but a JS setting can always be reset by a user who knows how to do it. JS is no means for security settings.
