how to name the language file of jscalendar

Hi,

i've translated the english language file of jscalendar (located in components/com_fabrik/libs/jscalendar/lang) to german. the name of the file is calendar-de.js. however, the english language file will still be loaded. i tried some other filenames like

  • calendar-de_DE.js,
  • calendar-de_utf8.js,
  • de.js or
  • de_DE.js
but nothing works. now my german translation is named "calendar-en.js" and it works, but thats not a solution for long. whats the correct naming of this file?

BTW: The german translation is attached.

Best regards,
Daniel

In 1.0.x, we don't really support anything but English for the calendar, which is why we didn't included the jscalendar language files in our copy of the libs.

The way you have it (overwriting the English language file) will work, until you try and use any non-numeric formats, like 'short month names' or 'day names'. Because of the bizarre way we have to go about converting between jscal's UNIX style date formats and PHP's formats, we have day and month strings hard coded into Fabrik (in English).

This is unlikely to get fixed in 1.0.x.

I believe we support languages for the calendar in 2.0.
